COMPANY PROFILE
ALES is a private engineering company certified by Civil Aviation Authority of
the Czech Republic to design aeronautical ground facilities and to project their
installation. ALES deals with the development and production of advanced computer-aided
systems for both ATC/ATM and Air Defence applications, Radar Modernization and
Consoles nad Special Furniture Manufacturing for the above purposes as well.
ALES was founded
in 1992 by former radar and computer professionals of the Czechoslovakia
Air Force involved in upgrade programs of radar data processing systems
since the
mid/1980s. In a short time, ALES has established itself as one world-wide
suppliers of ATC systems playing a significant role in development
of operational concepts
and ATC technologies within the Central/East Europe region. Our
systems are preferably based on Sun SPARC Platform and Operating System
Solaris 8,9 and in such a way meeting relevant applicable recommendations
and clients requirements. After Czechoslovakia splitting up the ALES
continue doing business in both
its successor countries
- Slovak and Czech Republic by establishing two corporations. Both
corporations close cooperate and provide their customers with development,
production
and commissioning of innovative ATC/ATM products, technologies and
services based
on advanced compter-aided systems for support of aerospace & defence
sector.
ALES philosophy is to supply products tailored to the customer requirements with
to his existing equipment in order to provide fully operational systems with
high performance and reliability while offering cost/effective and competitive
solution.
At the beginning of 2002 ALES celebrated the 10th anniversary of its
coming into existance. Within this period of time, a number of ALES
business places expanded
to six facilities located both in Slovak and Czech Republic. A number
of countries around the world where ALES equipment has been put into
operation draw near to
ten and ALES co-operate with firms worlwide. During 10-year period
ALES has made its best effort not only gaining but also retaining the
customer confidence and
consideration. Through interesting projects and programmes in progress
ALES is provided an opportunity for futher growth and prosperous business
of the company. Our products designed and produced for foreign military
end-users are solely exported through certified Czech entities licenced
in accordance with applicable law.
